Symptoms
The disease can occur in all parts of cucumber plants. Control methods
Ridge planting or high ridge cultivation should be carried out to increase soil ventilation; mulching with plastic film to reduce humidity; watering in the morning or evening and frequent watering with small amount of water to avoid flooding; preventing ponding, especially in continuous rainy days, should be done to keep the ground dry after raining; seed detoxification should be carried out; the diseased plants should be removed immediately to prevent the spread of pathogens.
In the early stage of the disease, it can be controlled by medicament. If 500 times liquid of 750% bactericide is used, the control effect is about 70%. Spraying from seedling stage can control its harm and other diseases. It can also be prevented by spraying twenty-five percent times of 500 times liquid of red mold or sixty-four percent times of 500 times of disinfect vitriol, or fifty percent times of spraying of 500 times of potassium chloride. In order to prevent drug resistance, a variety of drugs can be mixed. For example, a mixture of twenty-five percent and sixty-five percent times of zinc, 600 times of liquid spray, or twenty-five percent times of the mixture of twenty-five percent% of the toxin and forty percent of the mixture of 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 500, respectively.
