Control methods of autumn cabbage maggot

From:null Views:17 Time of publication:2020-09-20
1. Before Chinese cabbage planting, phoxim granules of 2.5-3.5 kg / mu can be used to kill the eggs and larvae of the flies after being mixed with chemical fertilizers.

2. A mixture of 0.5 kg sugar, 1 kg vinegar, 7.5 kg water, and 20 g trichlorfon powder was used to make the mixture. In the early ten days of August, a bowl sized pit was dug every 8-10 meters in the field. According to the size of the pit, a plastic bag was put in, and 100 grams of mixture was poured in. The mixture was added every 10 days or so, so that a large number of adults could be killed.

3. When Chinese cabbage grows to 2-3 true leaves, 1-1.5 kg of 2.5% trichlorfon powder per mu or 0.5-1 kg dimethoate powder per mu are used to spray powder on the ground in order to avoid the seed flies from oviposition in the field.

4. When Chinese cabbage grows to 6-8 leaves, the mixture of plant ash, lime powder and 2.5% trichlorphon powder in the ratio of 2:1:1 can be spread around the root of cabbage to prevent the breeding flies from oviposition and kill the larvae before entering the soil.

5. When it is found that there are root maggots in Chinese cabbage in the field, the root can be irrigated with 1000 times of 90% trichlorfon, 1500 times of dimethoate 40% EC, or 2000 times of phoxim 50% EC. Each plant is irrigated with about 200 grams of liquid to make the solution flow from the cabbage heart to the rhizosphere to ensure that the root soil is moist. Generally, the maggot can be killed by irrigating the root once or twice.

6. About 30 days after the Chinese cabbage is planted, 1 kg of ammonia water and 1 kg of clear water are used, and the roots are irrigated with 150-200 g of each plant. Or combined with autumn cabbage irrigation, ammonia water is slowly poured into the running water for furrow irrigation, which can not only avoid the occurrence of ground maggots, but also have the effect of topdressing.
